Vegan Haggis & Clapshot.

Vegan Haggis.
1. Sauté onion and garlic. I used yellow onion.
2. Spices: garam masala, black pepper.
3. Add soaked lentils and carrot. I used yellow and some leftover green lentils.
4. Add mushroom and raisins. I used brown and white button mushroom.
5. Add kidney beans.
6. Add soaked steel cut oats.
7. Sauté until everything is cooked through. (I let them water sauté for awhile in between adding the ingredients) . .
Vegan Clapshot.
1. Peel and chop radish and potato into cubes.
2. Steam until softens.
3. Add nutritional yeast and vegan milk.
4. Mash everything.
5. Garnish: toasted sesame seed and parsley.
Recipe calls for turnip and potato but I don't have turnip so tried it with radish. Sweetness from the turnip gives the mashed potato a better taste.
